《A passage about worshipping the idol》

'Idol', means that a people who is loved and admired very much. However, I think that having a idol can be good or bad. In fact, I have a idol. He is a famous Chinese sport star— Mr.Liu Xiang. I think he is so handsome and strong. But I don't just appreciate his external beauty, I also appreciate his inner beauty. I think he has patience. I can exactly prove this from two things.
When Liu Xiang was in secondary school, he entered the school athletic team and was chosen into the Shanghai athletic school to learn 100m hurdles. In the school, he was insulted by his schoolmates. But he didn't give up his athletic career. This shows that he has patience. Moreover, he hurt his leg before the Beijing Olympics Games in 2008, and thus he cannot join the match. Also, he still didn't give up and went over seas to cure his problem on his leg. How patient he is!
In the above, I think that my action of supporting my idol is right. But some teens may just indulge in worshipping their idol; some may just learning from a bad idol! I think that a good idol has a good manner, don't smoke or take any drug, not doing anything bad & would like to help the poor. But some teens just like the idols who are handsome, beautiful or immaculately groomed no matter what things (good or bad)they do! Fr example, Janice (衛思) take drug in Japan and was arrested for hours. Some fans still think that is OK!!! In addition, the young model also advise the young girls to enter the entertainment group instead of studying!!!!! In fact, there are many people that can be appreciated,e.g.
Andy Lau, Michael Jordan, Mr.Wen Jiabao etc..
In my point of view, I think that having a idol is not a bad thing .But we should not indulge in it. We should learn the good things from the idol ; but not buying all the products of the idol. We should concentrate on the academic but don't put most of the time on supporting the idol.In conclusion, we should not indulge in our idol, because it will waste time & money!
